The exam will be conducted in multiple phases across various centers in India to accommodate lakhs of applicants. Before the actual admit card is released, RRB activates the Exam City and Date Intimation Link so that candidates can make their travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.

⏰ Exam Shift Timings & Pattern
The CBT 1 exam will be conducted in two/three shifts daily. It is a 90-minute online exam comprising General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Remember, there is a negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer.

Follow the simple steps below to quickly check your exact exam date, shift, and city allocation on the RRB portal:
- Scroll down to the “Important Links” section at the bottom of this article.
- Click on the “Check Exam City & Date” button.
- You will be redirected to the official RRB login portal. Enter your Registration Number and User Password (Date of Birth).
- Click on the login button. Your “City Intimation Slip” will be displayed on the screen.
- Check your Exam City, Date, and Shift. Take a screenshot or print it for travel planning. (Note: This is NOT your Admit Card. The admit card will be available 4 days before the exam.)
